Chuck is working with some great clients who thought they couldn’t buy a home right now because they didn’t have “enough” saved for a down payment.  Instead of just saying “ok” – Chuck asked them how much they thought they needed for a down payment.

How much do you think you need for a down payment?

The answer is, it depends.  It depends on the town you are buying in,  the price range you are buying in, and whether you are going to live in the home or be a landlord.

Let’s just talk about what we call “owner occupied” buyers (this simply means you are going to live in the home you are purchasing).
