It’s supposed to be 90* today and for the weekend.  Since it’s the 1st day of fall in North Idaho, this is pretty phenomenal.

I’m wondering what everyone is planning on doing to enjoy the gorgeous weather?  We’re heading out to Greenbluff to pick raspberries and blackberries.  We do it this same weekend every year.

It’s fun, we do it together (Chuck and I plus our 4 boys), we watch our favorite farmer launch mini-pumkins at a target 500 yards away, we eat apple pie and berry cobbler and we come home with several pounds of blackberries and raspberries that we feast on.

Perhaps it’s time I learned how to make berry jam that’s not freezer jam . . .
